Hello everyone,

It seems a bit quiet in here. I was wondering if anyone visits here any more.

Give us a shout if you are still alive.

Kind Regards,

Phew. Thought I was here all by myself. It's good to know that I have some company.

I have an eZine issue that I could do with some help on.

I have made an addition to my weekly eZine. It is a 'random question' that has nothing to do the subjects covered each week, it's just for fun.

I also post the question on my blog and ask my readers to go there and post their answers. Here is the first question that I am posting.

***A guy is walking across the beach when he finds what looks like a genie's lamp. He picks it up and gently gives it a rub. To his amazement, a beautiful Genie pops out.

"Finder of the magic lamp, I grant but 1 wish. I am only able to offer you 1 of 2 things, you must choose. You may have $1,000,000 or true love. What will it be?"

The question is, what would YOU do?

I can't wait to hear what you all have to say, so get posting guys.

Best Wishes,

Jane ***

The eZine doesn't go out for a few more days, but there have been comments posted already, which is very encouraging.

The problem is, I only have a few questions that I can use for the next few weeks. I need some more questions. That means I need YOUR help guys.

Please get your thinking caps on and let me have your best ideas. I'm sure that your collective creative genius can produce some funny and interesting questions. I'll happily give a bi-line for any questions that I use in future editions of 'Get A Grip' eZine.

I look forward to hearing from you all.

Kind Regards,

Jane Harper

Or at least planning it. After knowing you for a long time here on Ryze, Lisa, I FINALLY set up my account over at EZezine and have started to build my list. First issue of Susan Writes will go out next month.

Maryann Caravaglia
Hello,

I'm Maryann

My Online Magazine is still alive, but barely. Does an
online magazine qualify as an ezine. I don't send it
to peoples email addresses. They have to come to it.

I only have about 20 hits a day on my magazine if I'm
lucky.

I've been joining talk groups and going to bridal shows trying to get brides to visit my magazine.

I'm having Wedding Clickers in Pittsburgh hand out or
mail out 5,000 post cards (I hope this works). I don't
know when the post cards will start being handed out yet.
But this costs a lot of money. They were supposed to be
handed out last Sunday at a bridal show. I have to call
them and see if they were.

I just had an idea and I hope someone will verify about it
being a good idea or not. When Wedding Clickers starts
sending me the names of the brides they give my post card
to, wouldn't it be a good Idea to call or email the brides
reminding them of the postcard?

If I call or send some emails everyday it might increase
my readership.

Thank You

Maryann

It definetly is a project and a half. I have been a membre of Ryze for over a year and recently I published my first e-zine: Total Health: mind, body & Spirit. It is more than just a magazine about fitness, we cover total health. We have many experts that write for us, answer questions from our subscribers and help them on their way to a goal of total health.
I agree with other members, though, getting hits to your e-zine or subscribers can be difficult, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I also welcome feedback of our e-zine. If you have a minute and want to check it out, go to http://www.totalhealthmbs.com
Thanks and have a healthy day,
Angela Strunk

Jane,
I asked the same question a few months ago and got no response, congratulations on stirring up the nest. I see a lot of people's profiles here on Ryze, have made a lot of contacts with no response. I am now meeting members here who are on other sites now who report of abandoning their profiles here for the lack of no activity. Seems this is normal in the FREE sections. Knowing some of the members with the upgrade memberships, and viewing the site through their accounts, you see a different picture which I am sure it should be that way. There seems to be a considerable more actual networking to business connections when you move up. I assume we are all in this for the money or should be at least. This leaves me to wonder about the viability of being a member of this site. Thanks for shaking the tree again to see what falls out. You got more than I did..

I am here! I had an ezine I sold a few years ago; I'd like to start another ezine so I've been trying to get going on that. I've had a lot of distractions lately, mostly weather related with snow and ice storms and days of power outages here in Maine!
