Some of you know that I was recognized as "Most improved Coach of the year 2005" and I am proud of that recognition, knowing very well that all my clients have supported me to reach this part of my career as a Business Trainer, Coach and Mentor. So the honor really goes to my clients as well. I am grateful to all my clients that have supported me by implementing and successfully applying the many strategies Action has to offer.
This evening I received an email from Roger Franklin, President of Crystal Computer Corporation. Crystal supplies software to monitor the Satellites that control communication efforts to Fox, CNN, ABC and many others. Here is Roger's testimony:
Working with Gilbert Nieuwenhuis of Action International Cornerstone has really helped to improve my business in many ways. The first important improvement has to do with knowing the numbers of my business: actual versus target for sales and deliverables on a weekly basis. I now realize that it is impossible to make improvements in your company if you don’t know where it is right now. Gilbert helps me to figure out where my business is, and he makes sure I know this every week, he also helps me to set realistic targets for the future.
The next major improvement has to do with attracting the right people to join my business team. This involves determining and building a new company culture around the ideals that are important to my customers and me. As well as a new hiring process that is much different than I’ve ever used before.
The results speak for themselves: sales for this year are on target for a 60% increase, cash reserves are at a 5 year high, product development has resumed, and we are looking at new markets as well as OEM arrangements with major US manufactures.
Gilbert asks the tough questions that all business owners should ask themselves. Most of us either do not know what to ask or are too afraid to ask.
