Question about spam triggersViews: 1431
Apr 21, 2006 1:41 pmQuestion about spam triggers#

Janet Barclay
One of my clients has asked me to develop a monthly ezine for her, called simply "BUSINESS NAME EZINE". I have typed it all in capitals because she always displays her business name that way. Will this create any problems with spam filters?

Thank you,

Janet,

It could cause issues.

Here's a good site to check for common words that could trigger ISP spam filers and they have links to spam checkers too.

Hi Janet,

You may also want to plug your html code or text into the test form at http://ezinecheck.com/check.html which checks your content and composition against Spam Assassin parameters. SA is one of the most common ISP filtering tools used.
