I remember those days.. when the area between Bhandup and Vikhroli ( close to the railway tracks).. were afforestation zone.. mainly near the Kanjur station.,..
all i see in that place is.. all sorts of sites popping out...
was wondering if lalit can organise one mixer... where we can plant trees... and make a fully faltu time... worthwhile...

SOEB FATEHI | | i have been doing this every monsoon in Mumbai and will support anyone who wishes to - right time to plant trees in Mumbai is 2 weeks after the start of the monsoon - the bigger challenge is to see that the saplings do not get stolen or uprooted till the tree is at least 12 feet tall - if FUFA is keen do let me know and i will arrange good saplings in advance Private Reply to SOEB FATEHI |

I came across one article by Dr priya trivedi that there is 45% greenary plan comprised of joggers parks and gardens in Poona. I wonder if our youth creative could come with this type of econmoical funda where by our BMS could take it seriously. There are organizations like BNHS(Bombay Natural History Society)who could actively support the same clause. Well great for us i.e. environmentalist is that Mr. R.R.
