devika kataria
stars spread over the sky
they remind me of someone
who stays forever in my eye
close to my heart
merged with my soul
i can feel his body next to my own

for the world distance means all
but for me miles matter no more
whether trapped by the stormy ocean
or enveloped by the rays of sun
my faith in love
protracts me through it all

day after day
love swells within me
and hope encircles me
like creepers around a tree
waiting in anticipation
for a day close by,
when your heart will beat next to mine...

i was getting rusty, havent written anything for a long time...i know its not one of my best works but i had to write something to feel alive again!

Warm words, Devika! I can identify with the emotion. Why worry about whether they are your best or not-the-best? When the feel is genuine, the words sparkle. These do! They also show that you are very alive.

Be Happy!
