I know Soeb as one of the few netizens, who have never lost the patience to remind and encourage the members of WE CARE FOR CHENNAI, time and again, to stay focussed with WHAT-CAN-BE-DONE. He has been a kind of Pointsman for this Group, telling point-blank, many a time, that ideas are available everywhere but idea-translators are hard-to-find.

Soeb is acutely aware that fingers dancing on the key board have the power of sending a false message of accomplishment of what one wanted to do as his physical contribution to "make Chennai a better place to live in". He has always been pushing us to use the keyboard to network, but think beyond the keyboard to bring true transformation of what has to be achieved.

Soeb has always been advocating the need to think aggresively and seriously on plans that could be realized practically and has frowned at attempts to construct grandioise plans with virtual brick-and-mortar.

Soeb has been a great asset to WE CARE FOR CHENNAI.

Think of it. Soeb is NOT even a resident of Chennai, but still is attached to it (as he should be, with every nook and corner of India as well), which he orchestrates with so much of genuine touch and feeling.

I wonder if we could get a few Soebs, who are Chennai residents.

And think of it. Many of us haven't even seen Soeb in person, as I too.

Think of it. We live in brick-and-mortar houses, use vehicles that are real and ply them on real roads, drink real water when we are thirsty, eat real food when we are hungry and really go to bed when we want to sleep. No, no, no -- these cannot be virtual accomplishments. The question is this. Can we build WE CARE FOR CHENNAI just exchanging virtual thoughts all the time?

God, give us more SOEBs, so that the spirit of WE CARE FOR CHENNAI doesn't get swiped out.

Meet SOEB in the Yahoo Group, if you think you could also be a CHANGE AGENT and have the urge to use the keyboard to think beyond it and the sincerity to participate and IDEA-TRANSLATION ACTION PROGRAMMES. Soeb will start interacting with us soon.

WE CARE FOR CHENNAI doesn't require 100s of virtual members, but just 15-20 people to start with, who have the power to be the CHANGE AGENTS, who have the sincerity not only to say but do; and who can contribute TIME to do what is planned.

Click your membership to WE CARE CHENNAI, if you believe that doing service is a privilege and not a charity.
