Hi Everyone!

I'm pleased to be a new Ryze member and was, AM, very intrigued by the mission of this group. As a past Dean of Continuing Education I am a firm believer in Life Long Learning. I truly believe when we stop setting goals, stop learning, that we risk our mental health. And, to borrow from the Marine Corps,we risk being all we can be. We are meant to be 'thinking' beings. And there is a role for each of us in the Universe. When you find what is important to you then you are truly a blessed person. So many go through their whole lives with just a 'job' that they can't wait to retire from and Fridays at 5:00 is their favorite time of the week. When you live your passion your life changes. I hope each of you has found your passion and has chosen to live that passion.

I'd like to recommend one of my favorite books to those who love to read. It's called "Good to Great" by Jim Collins. He talks about managers making sure they have 'the right people on the bus', and then taking a look at those people and making sure 'they're in the right SEAT on the bus.' He talks passionately about Customer Service--a topic that is VERY important to me. I hope you'll opt to read it and perhaps we can post it for discusssion? Any interest?

Stop by my Ryze page, get to know me, and let me get to know you please!
