Happy summer from sunny (and HOT) Surrey! A bit of exciting news - I am one of the four finalists in the Mega Marketing Makeover Contest! The winner receives $12,000 in services to improve online marketing. This could really increase exposure of my website Books by Glenda, and thus, my autobiography I’ll Do It Myself: A Collection of Memories from a Woman Living with Cerebral Palsy. I just joined this network and found you right away! I voted for you and will be eager to find out 'whether eagles soar'! Best of luck in everything. By the way, I have guardianship of a great young teen, aged 16, who has CP. He's AWESOME and has just made the cover of a book, with an inside article, on people succeeding with disabilities.
I'm so proud of him!!

Glenda Watson Hyatt | | Thank you all for your votes and support. I truly appreciate it. I apologize for not responding to each one of you, but I've been kinda busy these past few days. I have more BIG news.
A publisher has approached me, offering a book contract! I'm serious! I'm over the moon.
However, because I thought I was going the self-publishing route, I hadn't researched what one should do if a publisher should happen to appear to offer you a book deal. Silly me! Needless to say, I'm unprepared. I have the contract and I've read through it, but I don't understand all of it, plus I have some questions before I sign. Any advice?
I am on fire!
