Since Sunday's technically start of a new week, I find it helpful to organize goals for the next week the Saturday before. I like to post them & be accountable to that post. My kids have been in town the last week so I've shot to you-know-where a good deal of last week's. I've also been under the weather -- not a fun place to be.
So, for next week, I'll try to hit a few on the head, even though hubby & I'll be out of town Thursday thru Sunday. Here's the abbreviated version:
1). Post blog/reviews on the movie, "You, Me, & Dupree." Though no one's idea of an Academy Award winner, from a review I read ahead of going, I expected it to be no less than the Devil's Tool To Ruin Mankind. . . . It wasn't that bad; even mildly entertaining.
2). Get a large chunk of editing done. I'm doing a client's book manuscript & want a lot of that out before I leave Thursday.
3). Get activity going HERE. Please help!
4). Get my in-progress newsletter completed & in ciculation.
5). GET A MASSAGE!! That's on the schedule for Monday evening, & I intend to make that appt!
So -- anyone else? Do we have any goals this week?
Blessings -- Linda

Even though on the calendar Sunday is the first day of the week, Monday is traditionally the first day of the work week so I don't start making any list until then. It's all mindset I guess. It's like.. okay play time is over, now it's time to get back to work. I kind of stepped away from using the word goal, in the short term, and use it more in the long term and use my to do list as a way of reaching the long term goals. This way I am not continuously beating myself up if I don't accomplish goals I set for myself on a daily or weekly basis.
While I think everyone needs a certain amount of structure in their life, too much structure stresses me to no end and I find myself in kind of a rebellious frame of mind, and then I don't accomplish a thing.
Sometimes my to do lists for a day are kind of lengthy and I don't get done all I had set out to do, so in my best Scarlett O'Hara southern drawl I say to myself, "I'll worry about that tomorrow."

I like "to do" lists, also. I found one on one of my computer programs -- a woman standing next to an open, lined list, & printed that out to use as a daily reminder. Funny thing about it -- someone looked at the woman & said it looked like me. Sort of did, so I put glasses on her! Somehow gives it additional identification.
I don't necessarily follow a long "goal" list. A few a week & I find I'm better able to get the jobs done. I used to work for the federal gov't, in Washington, DC, & stress & mania was the name of the game. I had enough of that & got outta there.
Good to end w/a movie theme -- "I can't worry about that today. I'll go mad if I worry about it today. I'll worry about that tomorrow . . . for tomorrow's another day!" [paraphrased]
Blessings & happy tomorrow -- Linda
