The phrase "Don't Worry, Be Happy" popularized by Bobby McFerrin may appear over-used and over-simplified, but as I take time to really consider, it is quite a substantial statement and an even more powerful action.

Every now and then, I find myself marveling at the blessings that God has bestowed upon me, modestly enjoying the fruits of my labor. Then, as I consider it all, I can't help but wonder when will it all end, when will the storm hit my seemingly calm world?

After all, I'm used to thriving over and in the midst of drama. But suddenly and sweetly, the voice inside reminds me to not worry but to be happy. When we choose to worry, we can literally worry ourselves to death, choking away the pleasure of our peace, joy and happiness.
