Ally Maree | | I have been a member here for awhile, but I do not say much. I read a lot though.
I do have a question, I have ADD and I am sort of ashamed of it. But that is not my question.
My question is... how do I tell if my 5 yr old has it? I mean her attn span is short when it comes to learning or is this just a 5 yr old thing?

Two things: First, don't be ashamed of having ADD ... I think of it as my secret weapon. I just need to continue to learn how to control and use it ;) In the meantime, my friends and associates continue to be amazed at my creativity, lateral thinking, problem solving, and ability to learn and understand new things so quickly ... and I'm sure your friends feel the same way about you!
Second, the only way to tell if Summer has ADD is to have her diagnosed by a qualified physcologist.
