You'll have to be more specific about what it is that you are trying to take to market. There are a lot of marketing things that you can do no matter the product/service, but a lot of the more detailed approaches need to have a place to start from.
Generic help:
• Google Adwords
• SEO your website
• Print advertising in the media that your market views
• Direct mail campaign to your target market advertising your product/service
• Face to face networking via Chambers, Toastmasters, LeTip, BNI, and/or other such groups
Those are the standard replies to all marketing/advertising needs. What will work for you in your case might be some, all, or none of what is mentioned above.

You are asking an extremely general question. There are MANY online marketing techniques - search engine optimization, article marketing, online networking, pay per click and more. Can you refine your question - what are you looking to market? Who is your target market?
