VishalPandey
Hi,

In this festival season of Diwali & Eid, I wish you Happiness, peace, success, joy, contentment, and prosperity...Here's praying, to the ALMIGHTY, to BLESS your world, with all that MATTERS the most to you in LIFE.

Have a Happy Diwali / Eid.

DIWALI

Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, is the most popular of all the festivals from South Asia, and is also the occasion for celebrations by Jains and Sikhs as well as Hindus. The festival of Diwali extends over five days. Because of the lights, fireworks, and sweets involved, it's a great favourite with children.

The festival celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance, although the actual legends that go with the festival are different in different parts of India. "Regardless of the mythological explanation one prefers, what the festival of lights really stands for today is a reaffirmation of hope, a renewed commitment to friendship and goodwill, and a religiously sanctioned celebration of the simple — and some not so simple — joys of life."

Eid-ul-Fitr

The first Eid was celebrated in 624 CE by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with his friends and relatives after the victory of the battle of Jang-e-Badar.

Muslims are not only celebrating the end of fasting, but thanking Allah for the help and strength that he gave them throughout the previous month to help them practice self-control. The festival begins when the first sight of the new moon is seen in the sky. The celebratory atmosphere is increased by everyone wearing best or new clothes, and decorating their homes. Eid is a time of forgiveness.
