aparnadogra | | I am planning a short vacation to Bhutan from India, tentative dates are 22nd Dec-2nd Jan. I'd like pointers/advice on ailine tickets ( understand Druk Air flies to Bhutan from Delhi/Calcutta) and must do's/must see's in Bhutan. Thanks a lot! Aparna Private Reply to aparnadogra |

the thorntree forum at lonelyplanet.com has plenty of tips in Asia-> Bhutan section.
I've changed my plans of going to Bhutan...sometime March or so would be a better time I guessPrivate Reply to N Iyer |

Madhavi Kamath | | Hi
March - May is definitely a better time to travel to Bhutan, however it is also the high season there so if u really plan to travel to Bhutan u have to plan well in advance.

Vimal Dikshit | | Anuradha,
Great pictures!
Reminded me vividly of the 2 years I spent in Bhutan 1989-1991. The country has grown much...in my times there was only one newpaper called "Kuensel" published Sundays and it was not legal to import Indian newspapers or magazines.
Is Television legal there now? Just curious.
Cheers

Anuradha Goyal | | Hi Vimal,
Yes TV is legal now and you get to see all Indian channels along with some English and Chinese ones.
