Zayn Khan | | Quite honestly it is not very easy to tell the difference in isolation. In Hyderabad we only get the Gold Reserve now so we have to make do with it, and dont really complain. But when I am out of town I drink the regular Old Monk and thoroughly enjoy it. Maybe I agree with Ian the old square bottle is still the best.

But both have their somewhat similar but unique taste.
If you have too much of one you will miss the other.

Akkshai Malhotra | | Ian I have just got a replacement for my 'Old Monk' old monk bottle. I now pour the square bottle into it and it sure tastes better than both - the gold reserve and the square bottle. I will prove it next time u r in town.

Akkshai Malhotra | | Chandra, before the Square bottle, old monk used to come in a bottle shaped like an old monk. One of my friends broke my prized possession. I had been trying to replace it. Then I met Mr. Mohan at a General Sahib's party, and requested him to arrange one for me. That has finally arrived.
