when I asked for my refund - I had to
sue them to get it.

Althea Garner | | Well, I am certain that there are many 'rip off artists' out there, but the company that I used, charged me $2500 to optimize my web site and I was at #1 within 90 days! I maintained that position for the three years that it was my primary web site.
I must admit that I did gag on the price, but given the result and the great service, I couldn't complain. Also, the amount of effort that went into keeping me at #1, had to be acknowledged. I was very satisfied.
Now I am looking to optimizing MY OWN Realty web site, since optimization is not in my budget for this year. Before you say anything, one has to understand that Realtors are perceived as being high income earners and therefore we become the target of every Tom, Dick and Harry who has anything to sell! Real Estate comes with incredibly high expenditure, so SEO is JUST ANOTHER high expense!
If anyone can guide me in self optimization, I would surely appreciate it.

must have been quite a leap of faith to part with $2500 with no guarantee and wait 90 days though before you saw a result eh?
what if you could be in the top 10 on Google within 3-4 weeks and for three keyword phrases and not pay a dime until you are there?
Wouldnt that be better?

Your real name is in your webpage url. Such as my own. Surely I have toppers-tap that is partly me, plus another part is David Tobkin within the url title.
That was probably a suggestion of those that picked up an easy 2500 off you perhaps.
When you go to a party, if they do not know, generaly will ask your name. You sell properties, so on your business card is what? Your full name of course.

if so, why wouldn't having a top placement help her do that?
my business is not based upon SEO but on something unique.
she could have a top 10 site that had her name as the url.
