Lapsi | | 1. Wear light clothes which dry off easily.
2. Keep a change of clothes, chocolates, snacks and some hard drinks in the pick up car.
3. Be fit. If you are not working out now please do so for the next 15 days and you should be fine. There will be lots of rowing to do.
4. Just chill. Oooops wrong word. Relax. It will be a great experience. Private Reply to Lapsi |

Mona M | | I had gone rafting there at Rishikesh Byasi and did the Wall which is a grade 4 and I was a 1st timer. The idea is to relax, pick an experienced guide and follow the guides directions. Was real great fun and we even took a dip in the river and swam where the flow was gentle.
if u are adventurous enough and the rescue Kyaker is game then u can latch on to his Kyak and go into the rapid with him with the water all over n below u (My hubby did that) - he sez is an amazing experience.
I made the mistake of wearing clothes which didn't dry off easy - pls wear some stretch n lycra stuff to keep u comfy!, sunscreen - yes there'll be a lot of sun, some pocket munchies, camera in a waterproof cover (Spoilt my camera there)- and u're set!
Good luck n hv fun
Mona

Somit Makar | | My apologies...and appreciate the reminder. Hadnt come to This group in the last week or so. Normally the responses are slower here...but that should not be an excuse.
Really appreciate the tips...some people also recommended privately that Jan would be just too cold...i can believe it as Delhi is still freezing in the evenings. Delaying the vist to 2nd week of Feb. Hope its better then.
Thanks again
