I currently represent a motivational speaker. I work as his marketer, business coach and personal motivator. I have recently been approached by two other speakers looking for representation.
I will need to build my own website and come up with a new name that better represents my business. My business is currently called business visions by Judy. I am thinking that I will have to change the name, but I don't know what I should change it to. Am I a promoter, speakers bureau, speaking coach?
My new website will include a list of speakers I represent (if you book through my sight, the speaker will pay me a commision), as well as information on how to get started as a professional speaker (the business side). You will be able to buy templates for contracts, questionnaires, proposals etc.. As well, I will continue to coach and mentor speakers.
Should I brand myself as a speaker profiler, or speakers bureau or speaking coach? Help!!!
Some names I am tossing around are: Lika ? (fill in the blank with?) West Coast? West Koast? Island? JC?
Any feedback or idea's would be greatly appreciated.

You represent many people, and since you book for them you're acting as an agent. But you also talk about how you promote your first client, Michael B, and that makes you a promoter. I'd probably put agent first, though, since that's your primary push.
Just to say, you're not really a coach, or at least haven't represented yourself as one, because you don't teach people how to speak. You're not a bureau because you haven't set yourself up where people can just list their speaking services and request them at the same point, and then you get your money. And a profiler,... well, that makes me think of those people who work for the FBI. :-D

What about a speaking profiler? Does that still sound too FBI? I will be a sort of speakers bureau once I have my website set up as you will be able to book speakers through my sight, and they will then have to pay me money!!!
What do you think of Speke speakers agent?
