Hola Ruchit,

Some feedback:
1- In terms of Technology,
Look out for WiMax and AJAX.. its pretty small at the moment but will be the catalyst for things to come in 2 years. For a market like India, it makes alot of sense. This would also mean, convergence with existing IP networks.

2- Bandwidth (pipe capacity)
This will really depend on the technology adopted. 3G bandwidth for mobiles are considered too "low" for some applications the mobile industry is looking towards (UGC being a key element).

3- Type of application floating
Pay attention to UGC and mobile office. These is already forming the basis of many many new developments in the mobile content industry in Europe and I expect it to have a better impact in Asia in the near future.

Some feedback based on moi little experience in the industry.. :)

Cheers!
Nav

Hi!
I wish to add few points, being in BSNL for more than 5 years , I can see the subscribers mind set is changing, last year we have launched the broadband services in India the response was great, in Chennai now we are providing in waiting list and many places the same condition. In addition BSNL also going for the big launch of IPTV and Gaming services. Customers are shifting from traditional voice services to data networks. I hope this helps.

What's BSNL? I couldn't find it in Narry Newton's Telecom dictionary. Too many acronyms to keep track of.
