Vivek Kumar Aggarwal | | Hello everyone,
One of my friends is running her own placement consultancy, is looking for someone who can share the cost of buying the resume database access from naukri.com. The entire acess for 1 year period (with 2 individual login id's) costs Rs. 1,50,000/- plus taxes @ 12.24% per annum (special price for her as against Rs. 1,68,000/- plus taxes as normal charges). She is looking for someone who can bear half the cost and buy one login id from her, as she would be needing only one ID. The amount payable would be Rs. 75,000/- plus service tax @ 12.24%. If you are a placement consultant, or if you know someone, kindly pass on this message to them.
Please call me on 09899113766 or 09873626400 to discuss in detail.

Vishwas Bondade | | I think you can negotiate with Naukri to get a better price. I understand they can provide 1 year access for Rs 1.0L with 2 e-mail ids.

Lakshmi Dheena | | Hi, I guess you can negotiate with naukri better as they give 2 ids for around a lakh Regards, DheenaPrivate Reply to Lakshmi Dheena |

Moses on Wheels | | Hi Guys,
You guys looking at Just naukrai.com?? I work for a Job Portal Called CareerBuilder (www.careerbuilder.com).
It has excellent features.. The database strength is a lil weak.. To compensate I shall give you excellent features to halp you get the profiles.
Let me know if it interests you.

Ari Bloch | | This raises another question - just how good is Naukri?!? People leave their CVs there long after they got a job, CVs are not updated, etc etc etc. Can anyone comment on whether such a subscription is actually worth it?

Sanjay Das | | Try TimesJobs..they charge much less and have almost a good portion of the Naukri profiles, maybe upto 70% of it..u get it at about 12k a month..

Vivek Kumar Aggarwal | | No Sanjay.. I have tried both jobsahead & timejobs.. they both are rather inferior in quality as compared to naukri.
Please allow me to elaborate. Agreed that not all people update their resumes upon changing jobs, but thats just a small fraction of the more than 45 lakh plus resumes on naukri. Now, if 1 id of naukri costs 85K(rounded off), and you place 2 mid level or 1 senior level position, the cost is recovered . Thus, the cost benefit analysis makes the investment worthwhile.

Hemant Arora | | Hi All,
I had been an avid user of Naukri since past 3 years and i swore by its superiority over all other portals. But now; trust me, monster has improved significantly and it wont be wrong to say that they are as good as naukri; infact on some features such as filtering with a "NOT" condition, they are better off. I guess monster shouldnt cost more than a lac for 2 ids....

Vivek Kumar Aggarwal | | Agreed that Monster might have really pulled up their socks, but it still below naukri in terms of quality & response time, and user friendliness.
Coming to my main subject- could I find someone who would be willing to share the cost with me? Please call me on 09899113766 or 09873626400, so that we can discuss in detail. I have renegotiated the prices with naukri, and they are ready to give the access in Rs.1.35 lakh plus taxes for 2 user id's, in place of Rs 1.5 lakh plus taxes. This is the best price they can offer. I shall share the invoice with the person who shares the cost with me.

Varadarajan | | Hi All,
I'm also interested in getting access to Naukri's Resdex database. But, I need some help on understanding the access level. On purchase of this database, will I get access to the employer's requirements as well ? or I'll get access only to the Job seekers database?
