Michael Deans
Megha:

I'm a UK and European Patent Attorney, but I'm unusual in being excited about India, both as a potential source of new Intellectual Property and as an economically significant country in which outside businesses will wish Intellectual Property protection.

As yet India provides relatively few Indian generated Patents for its size [Compare China], but I believe that there will be a huge change in the next few years. I have joined an India-based Association that encourages knowledge of Intellectuial Property among Indian businesses and of the potential importance of India in the outside IP world.

I know the few Indian firms through whom foreign businesses have mostly filed in India in the past, but these are of little interest to me. I am keen to learn who are the up and coming firms encouraging Indian firms to protect their own IP.

In your message starting this string, you say that you can put people who need Patents and other IPRs in contact with someone who can help. I would be interested to know who you would suggest. Please send me a Private Message with your thoughts and suggestions.

Regards
Michael Deans
