During our annual vacation to India next month, we would like to stay in a moderately priced hotel in chennai for about 15 days.
need a central location, preferably in T nagar/mylapore etc. Clean, comfortable hotel. Our budget around Rs 1500/- per nite for a DBL room.
Would really appreciate any suggestions.Any travel agents who can give us a good deal??

Alakaline | | Hotel Woodlands is a good option in Mylapore area.
They even had cottages at one time.

i did chk out new woodlands's home page. it looks like a good bet, esp with prices around Rs 1800 only for a DBL suite.
we have actually settled on it after gng thru other hotels in chennai. will be writing to them to make the booking.cant wait to have their delightful southindian breakfasts every morning .......

ANIL RAJ LODHA | | Yep.. alka is right.. Woodlands is a good place for your budget.. I am sure it will be a wise desision to go for it.. There is one next to it as well. Cant remember the name..
