Alakaline | | people come to discs to really sweat it out/ do shady things... f&b in most of these places is mighty expensive and quite ordinary.. nothing worth talking about really.. which is why my Q., which was more of a rhetoric ;)

Chandrashekhar | | True.
Although some discs have some odd specialities like Absinthe at Fuga (Bangalore).
But even otherwise we generally track discs too although there haven't been any posts lately.

dinesh brid | | I am totally with you Chandrashekhar. I am not so much of a pubgoer; but I love to plonk at 1000Oaks for the grub they serve. The food is just great at some Nightspots. And we must track them... Private Reply to dinesh brid |

dinesh brid | | I love to refer to them as nightspots - as mentioned on pub2pub.com. Pubs, Discs, Lounges, all of 'em are in the same fold. I'm hooked to the 'IDHQ' feature on pub2pub.com - 'India's Drinking-out HeadQuarters'. + they have the best nightspots lisited. I agree with you, the keyword is Nightspots, not Discs. Been There and Done That .........MY WAY | | Scoobadu was in Residency Club and was famous for its Sunday Afternoon Parties. The place had a lovely entrance over a small bridge and the disc had waterfilled sofas. But this was a verrry loooooooooong time ago. Las I remeber going to this place is 1996-97.
Crystal Ball is also no longer opeartional but some new palce is come up at the same spot
I agree about these night spots having some peculiar specialities.
I don't have more information on latest happening disc in Pune as but generally if u r looking for a bby kinda disc experience, Scream & Lush would be ma bets.
I don't wht happened to DISC at BlueD though?? Any inputs??
Thousand Ooaks rocks for all things i.e MUSIC, FOOD & Ambience

dinesh brid | | Club Polaris, at Blue Diamond (now a Taj Hotel) has closed doors for the outside world. Only members & house guests have access. It was one of the best Discs in Pune, serving some great snacks. Private Reply to dinesh brid |

Chandrashekhar | | Atul,
You mean Cyclone?
I had been there long ago. No idea if it exists. But it must be still there.
There was also a disc in that other 5 star near Taj.

Been There and Done That .........MY WAY | | Cyclone - Can't remember where it was.
Another Disc which was decent was at Holiday Inn (Now Sun'N' Sand) called Boomerang.
When Red Bull was launched in Pune, the launch was at this place with a very unique offer which ran for a month or two. "Each Red-Bull ordered came with a free peg of Smirnoff"
We really had some good time during that phase at this place.
