It's official! ... I WILL be visiting Middletown for the Middletown Days Parade!
I have agonized over where to stay for some time now and finally after confirming rates, I have elected to stay at the Kelseyville Motel - somehow, I am just unable to justify $149/night in Middletown, when I am booked at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego at the end of May, at a rate of $152/night!
I called last night and left a message at 3 hotels in the area and was called very promptly by Jay at the Kelseyville Motel this morning.
What a pleasure it was to speak to him! Friendly and intent on my comfort and convenience, Jay managed to offer me far more than I was expecting! My reservation was taken with professionalism and by the time I was done, I felt as though I have a friend at my destination.
My next step will be to book my expo booth (table?) so that I may promote my real estate business while there.
And THIS time, I am going to remember my cowboy hat and boots!
