Not sure this post belongs here, but was trying to get in touch with bangalorites in specific.
I have a 6 month old mongrel pup and am looking for a new home for the lil guy.
I initially picked him up from the street 4 mnths back and he is completely vaccinated and has received all the shots. He is the office dog (in keeping with our office tradition of always having dogs around).
But he is male (the rest were all females), turning out to be complete guard dog material, very alert and boisterous and an office of 150 ppl is not a place where i can keep him, considering that he has full access to the entire space and everyone who walks in and out of the place.

@ training him - Have given it thought and spoke to one trainer but he says if the dog socialises with an average of 100 ppl everyday, each of whom will give him different signals, its unlikely he will respond to any one person or command.
Which is why i thought he would do well in a home where there are just a few ppl he knows as family and there is a clear social heirarchy he can understand. Private Reply to Sumanth Kamath |

Mmmmmmmmmm | | Hi, you said this pup was a mongrel, yes? As in pure bred or street dog variety? Sorry if this is dumb- is he a small sized dog? I'm asking because ideally I could take him for my parents. They live on a sprawling farm property in Gujarat and absolutely adore dogs. Would he be ok in that kind of place? 1.3 years old, female, pomerian-alsatian cross, all vaccinations done. Brown, medium sized and lovable, a bit undernourished, I think.
Her owners who are my neighbours are not taking care of him and she is tied up all day outside the house. After several months to talking to them about it they have finally agreed to give her away. But at the same time they believe they are great dog lovers and do not want to give it to agencies like Cupa etc and would like to find someone who loves dogs to take her away.
Anyone, who can take this creature and give her a better home will be doing a very good deed indeed. Please email me at reachyasmeen@hotmail.com.
