The candidate will play a crucial role in customer advocacy and moulding
the product design and product behavior to make it appealing to the
customer. The candidate would be leading teams of testing engineers for enterprise level product testing and test automation. Significant responsibilities would be on interfacing with end customers, release management, compliance to processes, ensuring requisite documentation, etc. This is a high visibility function in the company.
Prerequisites:
- B.E./M. Tech./MCA in Computer Science or Electronics & Communications
- 10-15 years experience
- Experience in networking protocols testing
- Experience with testing of kernel modules and drivers and exposure
to (or understanding of) hardware fundamentals
- Experience in developing tools in C, Perl, Assembly and Shell on Linux
platform or VBScript experience on Windows
- Enthusiastic about making an impact on product quality and thus
contributing to the success of the company
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
- Experience in managing QA teams for delivery of enterprise level networking products.
Responsibilities:
- Leading teams for development of tools and techniques using C, Perl, Assembly and Shell scripts on Linux or Windows platform for validating hardware, software and
networking protocols
- Design of test plans and test suites
- Leading engineers for testing and validation of independent modules
