Middletown Days is June 16th and 17th...spread the news! Never before in the history of Middletown, CA has its annual parade and festival created such enthusiasm. Last year, 30 students decided to magic something wonderful happen in Middletown. They wrote a television network and asked them to come visit. Fox News responded by sending international news correspondent Adam Housley to address the parade crowd. This year, 110 students (both high school and middle school students) decided to write letters - but not just to Fox News - including Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, his wife, Maria Shriver, among others. Ask that the show, Fox & Friends, call John Gay at (707) 987-9310 and interview him over the phone about the upcoming festivities. I know this esteemed gentleman would really appreciate the call since he works very hard all year long helping this event to be successful. 2) Add your name and a positive comment to the list of folks responding to the Ryze Event Listing. 3) RSVP to the Evite Invitation Link listed at the bottom of the Ryze Event Page. 4) Send a letter to the editor of the Middletown Times Star, the local weekly newspaper, expressing your support for Middletown Days. 5) Send a letter to the editor of the Lakeport Record Bee, the county-wide daily newspaper. 6) Send a letter to the editor of Lake County News, the area's newest daily online newspaper.
