Sameer Phadnis | | Are there any Japanese restaurants in Pune? If there aren't any can any one recommend any good Oriental places? I know only of Malaka Spice.
Thanks.Private Reply to Sameer Phadnis |

Sameer Phadnis | | So, there are none? Isn't that a bit strange?
As far Mainland China is concerned, I think Chandrashekar was pointing to them as an Oriental restaurant.Private Reply to Sameer Phadnis |

Darpana Athale | | Plenty of Oriental places in Pune...and a Jap restaurant opening very soon. Know bec I spent most of last night trying to hunt a good Oriental food place apart from Malaka Spice.
For Oriental food, you can try: 1. All stir fry, E-square 2. Flags (oriental and continental) 3. Malaka Spice (of course!) 4. Mainland China, Yana's, Dimsung Lounge, Chinese Room, Fat Kong, Chung Fa,Kimling,The Dragon(Aurora Towers), Imperial China(baner),Yo China or Only China (new joint, I forget it's name) - all chinese. 5. Orient (Sun n Sand)- ALSO SERVES JAPANESE. 6. Whispering Bamboos- Taj Blue Diamond. 7. Silk Route- Chinese and Thai
A new restaurant is opening soon...called Kudoz, which I think has Japanese food. Bon apetit! (yea, yea that's French, but then lets do the next thread on that... :)Private Reply to Darpana Athale |

Has anyone been there and/or is game for trying them out?Private Reply to Chandrashekhar |
