Scott Allen | | OK, due to popular to demand (and the tireless efforts of Paul Steven), we're going to start doing free profile reviews again.
Here's how it works:
To sign up for a review - Simply reply to this thread that you'd like your profile reviewed. That is the ONLY way to sign up. Don't PM me, don't start a new thread. Just reply to this thread. And anything OTHER than sign-ups posted in reply to this thread will be deleted without explanation, so don't reply to this thread saying what a great idea it is (unless you're also adding that you want your profile reviewed).
To contribute a review - About once a week, either I or a designated volunteer will post a NEW thread with the subject "Profile Review" and the name of the person up for review. Post your ideas and comments about their profile in response to that thread.
The "price" of a review - You are expected to contribute a minimum of THREE reviews of other people's profiles. I'm not going to enforce this, but keep in mind that the queue is public. People will know if you have met your responsibility when it comes time for your review. Obviously, the first few people won't be able to do those reviews beforehand, but you're expected to do so soon afterward.
This really is an extremely valuable process, and a great way to get to know people better, not just by chit-chatting, but by providing something of real value to each other. To get a taste of what I mean, take a look at some of the past critiques.

I have pictures of my work that I rotate on a regular basis but I don't have any pictures of myself as I feel it's a bit invasive to put my picture on the net. I'm behind the scenes in fashion and it would appear that we all seem to be camera shy which is a bit ironic really.
I welcome any suggestions to go for it!

I have not changed my page for so long it might be
stagnating. I will gladly review others pages so as to get
reacquainted here. Have been lurking for awhile.
I am not one who likes the "slick willie" pages much.
Don't get me wrong, they are awesome, just not my style.
But when all you have is business stuff it is a little hard
to "see" what might be possible in the way of a personal
relationshiop developing.
Just here for business? Why would that be? I have found
that I have to get to know someone on somewhat of a
personal level to know their style before working together.
It seems almost impossible to help someone project
their "image" unless you get to know them to a certain
degree. Listing hobbies is just um, not all there is to a
persons personality.
Representation of your own personna can be a hard task. I
never know what to say so just fly by the seat of my pants,
as it were. Anyhousen, I am game, so bring it on.
