Display ads paid for and promoting local business that were not even involved in the festival were that centerfold spread. What's amazing is that every vendor at the festival - and none even were among the advertisers in the centerfold spread - benefited. All the businesses placing display ads in the centerfold benefited - even the restaurant competing with the festival in the neighboring town did banner business that weekend.
