Kim Emerson | | Hi all,
Because I was unable to make it to convention I would love to hear all your stories! I know Sandy Morgan has some great stuff to share, how about anyone else? Help me live through you...LOL
Thanks in advance, Kim Private Reply to Kim Emerson |

Dave Smith | | In the words of Joel Walsh from the Eagles, I have been inspired to write the following.

 Mary K Weinhagen | | Dave...
that's BRILLIANT! LOL
I forgot about what a great 'commentor' you are...
hey -- would you consider posting a comment on the
guestbook on my Lens - CARDS TOUCH - The Art of Crafting Greeting Cards
;-)
Now...that request out of the way I have a convention
story - (which some might find peculiar since I couldn't
make it to convention this year)
Despite the attractive pull of convention I opted to spend
the weekend with my younger sister...who is currently
undergoing chemo for colon cancer. On Wednesday before
convention she received her second dose of a new chemical.
Two weeks earlier she had received her first dose and
she has to be on a drip for 48 hours. It goes in on Wed
and she gets unhooked on Friday. Well...after that first
dose her side effects were so severe that she ended up
in the Emergency room on that Friday night.
Fortunately...she had a friend with her at the time. You
see... she's in the process of a divorce, her kids live
full time with their Dad due to Mom's illness. So when
I realized that the friend she usually has available (My
sister lives in a different state from me) was going to
be out of town... well, it was a bit of a no-brainer to
realize I was going to be spending this convention weekend with my sister...who wasn't feeling particularly well.
AND -- because of the wonderful 'gift' that the INTERNET is and the BRILLIANCE and GENEROSITY of SOC... we got to spend
what could have been a bummer of a weekend (chilly, rainy, sick from chemo, staying at a friends house with no place to call her own and her birthday on Sunday no less)...
BEING (virtually) AT the SEND OUT CARDS CONVENTION!!!
It felt WONDERFUL... led to GREAT conversation and gave her something powerful to focus on... she wants to join the business!!!!
Now I know making 'medical claims' when it comes to our network marketing business is a big NO NO *grins* but I gotta tell you.... I truly do believe that SOC has already made a HUGE contribution to my sister, Mardi's full recovery!!!
GAWD!!! Don't 'cha LOVE the power of cards!?!?!!! :-)

Hi Mary K
I was not at the convention, but getting to watch it on the web was awsome !!! I cried and laughed with all of them. I really got the impact of what sending out cards is really about -although I knew this, but hearing them stories just impacted the meaning.

Kim Emerson | | Awesome, awesome! What a blessing, this company! Thanks for sharing the story of you and your sister. I will hold her healing up with full intention.
My best convention story took place the day after convention when Sandy Morgan and I spent 9 hours working on her autobiography (it will be completed and on shelves to buy sometime in the next year) and I have the honor of writing it with her. She had me in tears with her many wonderful/heart-wrenching/victorious/thought provoking stories. Of course Send Out Cards is a big part of her story and victory.
Yay! To each and every one of you out there in Send Out Cards land. Lives are touched and changed because of you and because of this terrific company led by great people.
Blessings, Kim

Kelly Powell~Watkins and Send Out Cards | | Unfortunately I didn't get the see the live videos or be there in person, but I get to read all your exciting stories, so that's good enough for me! I'm just so thrilled that SOC keeps evolving and coming out with bigger and better features! Whoo hoo! Glossy cards, less postage for postcards, recycled paper (something very important to me and a lot of others) and MORE!
I'm realizing more and more that I made the right decision by joining SOC, not just to use as a business tool for my other businesses, but to keep in touch with friends and families in such an easy and heartfelt way too!!
Thanks SOC!! Who else would make it so easy to make us look so good??
2-4-6-8 who do we appreciate? SOC, SOC, YEAHHHH SOC!! (cheerleader wannabe)
