I recently returned from a weekend training session for speakers in Newport Beach. While it wasn't my first bootcamp experience, it was the first dedicated to becoming a better speaker.
For those uninitiated into the bootcamp experience - the speakers each provide quality content from which you can learn A LOT - but the business model is such that they are angling to get you to invest in their continuing education programs. There were 12 speakers, and if you purchased everything each speaker was promoting, you could easily have spent $20K. HOWEVER, each speaker gave such solid info in their presentations - not to mention the connections you were able to make with the speakers and attendees - that even if you did not invest one dime, it was very well worth attending.
