Seeking Endorsements for a MABA Mixer from Around the Ryzer WorldViews: 552

Last month I tried something I had never tried before. I included audio links from Ryzers around the world in an Evite invitation I created. The hope was that these folks endorsing attendance at a MABA Business Mixer would themselves be able to attend the mixer virtually via a Skype conference. Unfortunately, due to the level of noise in the room that simply was not possible. The Skype conference had to be canceled. But, just having audio endorsements from around the world within that Evite invitation was awesome! I want to publicly thank Scott Allen (Austin, TX), Kathleen Smart (Atlanta, GA) and John Stephen Veitch (New Zealand) for sending me an audio file endorsing the "Hot August Night MABA Mixer" at the Langtry Estate Tasting Room.

Well, on Thursday, Sept. 20th, MABA is scheduled to have another mixer. This time it is going to be held at the local high school's multi-Purpose facility. We will have vendor tables. We will have a PA system. We will have food, refreshments, and door prizes. But, we will also have a very special multimedia presentation by Kenvin Comora, president of Vizicast, a Value-Added Reseller for Scala, Inc. - the oldest and largest electronic signage company in the world. I am really excited about this. Middletown's town hall is actually interested in pursuing this kind of technology to help itself move forward into the 21st century. Believe me, it's about time.

I encourage ALL members of this network who live within driving distance of Middletown, CA to come to this mixer. T It will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Middletown High School Multi-Purpose Facility, right across the street from Store 24 Express, off Hwy. 29. There is an Evite invitation that is being created and will soon be available through the MABA online lens for the purpose of sending an RSVP regarding the event.

For all those who live outside the area and wish to offer "words of encouragement" in an extraordinary fashion, I invite you to visit Odeo Studio and record an audio message and send me the link at lamar@mchsi.com. Make an audio clip that is uplifting and encouraging and I will include it in the Evite invitation going out for this mixer.

This will also be the first month I will be attempting to incorporate the tools of Squidoo, Jott and Evite as well to help spread this mixer message to the MABA audience. I have learned that many computers are automatically set up to bound Evite invitations. Therefore, the only way for an Evite invitation to reach certain people is as a link in regular email. In addition, I have been informed that many folks do not appreciate receiving more than one message - be it an Evite or regular email about these mixers. Therefore, I will be using Jott Networks to help me send out both a voicemail and email message about this mixer to my audience...but only one jott. This jott will include a link to my online lens. The online lens will include a link to the Evite invitation, which is needed to collect the RSVP's.

I hope this proves to be an effective approach. It's a lot of work to initially set up. But, once everything is all set up, all it takes to get the ball rolling in the future is a single phone call.
