JTM | | Does anyone have a flyer that they have used with any success? I'm thinking something I could pass out to people at events while talking with them...not so much a windshield or mailbox type. Ideas?

Carlos Scarpero www.ItsAboutResults.com | | Don't use a flyer. Buy the In Touch Journal at www.SOCtools.com and hand that out. I give a lot of those out at networking meetings. Make sure to write your name and number on the back of it. Private Reply to Carlos Scarpero www.ItsAboutResults.com |

I use the In Touch Journal for alot of different events, I even thumb tack several at a time any place there is a cork board.
I bought a stamp with my info on it at www.rubberstamp-awards.com

JTM | | Thanks guys. I hadn't bought any of those yet. I've been a member of SOC for a couple years but never done anything, honestly, I've been lazy. My wife and I have been talking about some baby steps we could take towards getting customers. Passing out flyers was an obvious idea. We were thinking we'd maybe do some door to door as well and were wondering if anyone has done that and if they'd had any luck getting customers that way. When we think of SOC, the product just makes sense, but we don't know if that is the case with a lot of people and if a well made/placed flyer would have any success at all.
I guess we don't want to waste our time and money doing flyers if others have used them and had no success. With the SOCWalkThrough it seems like hits to the website with directions should have some success, but I don't know. I'm wondering what others here have done.

Kerry Palmieri | | I just ordered my first Newspaper insert. I may use those or I may create something on my own with a printer.
I have had a lot of success with www.bni.com which is a networking group. There are other groups such as Latip and NPI.
I have gotten about 30 clients and 1 rep so far from going to 3 local networking groups on a steady basis in 6 months. Networking groups are the way to go to build build and build. I am signing on average 3 people a week now. Holiday time rocks!
Hope this helps you.
