I am Rukshana Hooda, a Visual Artist/Painter from the Sir J.J. School Of Art & Sophia College Mumbai,& Passed out doing Fine Arts, as a Textile Designer. I have an assorted Genre, Very Varied, From Abstracts, Landscapes, Charcoals, Moghal-Art, Human forms, Warli, History, & alwayz inspired by Nature around me, its beauty, its serenity, solitude is sometimes Heavenly to me....
Nature in its own self has always stayed absorbed in my expression. Human forms, stones, clouds and landscapes with types of vegetation take transformation on paper, plates, canvas, marine-ply, teak, etc. Beauty has no form still i try to capture & create on my canvas.... have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, but employment in a totally unrelated field caused me to give up doing any form of artwork for many years. In recent times I re-kindled my interest in art, and, inspired by friends and family, I decided to showcase some of my works online.
Painting is something I must do, and it is a major part of my life. I love flowers and abstract art & hopefully my artwork speaks for itself.

Anuradha Pathak | | Well Rukshana..good to know another visual arts who is member of Nirvana Fashion Magazine...even I am a visual arts from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and I do interactive sculpture installations as wel as painting...but my point was in the Nirvana Fashion Magazine, which i presume concentrates on woman but they hardly cover on woman artist in southeast asia...i just want to know the reason...any takes? (Maree Agland & Tahnja Wolter); costume designers (Jessica Everington) and loads of female and male all genre artists.

We are currently trying to get finance to build the castle when the business plan is completed. It will show off an immense amount of Renaissance & Medieval inspired, Indian inspired and Australian Aboriginal inspired fashions never seen before.
