One day I was crying hysterically and my dog slowly walked over, looked at me with much compassion, put his front paws on my lap, and did his best to hug me. I was already in love with my dog but that moment deepened our bond. What about you?

When I went to pick them up Roxie tore out the door ready to go home. Charlie came out with the kennel assistant. I took him by the leash to go home, he took a few steps and stopped dead in his tracks, turned around, walked back to the assistant and gave her a kiss. I think he was trying to make me jealous and boy did it! I had to put Charlie to sleep 3 weeks ago, he had kidney disease. I miss him so much. He was 13 years old, I had him since he was a puppy.
