Mel Taylor | | Restaurants would have options to add patios or enclosed areas designated for people who want to bring leashed potty trained pets to certain eateries. The particulars would have to be worked out with each state's health department and each eatery must adhere to the letter of the law but it would be so cool if it could happen. I'd open the first in DC!

Mel Taylor | | I know hotels exists I said restaurants. There aren't ANY in DC where a dog owner can sit and have a meal with their pet here. In some outdoor cafes pet are allowed to sit but there are not meals set for dogs. As my post said I'd like to see a nationwide law allowing such so the option is available. I know there are places that have them but I again there isn't a NATIONAL law and that's what I'd like to see. What law would you like to see enacted?

Tara | | On that link are restaurants and I don't get into politics or law because reality the majority of people won't act or stand up so it's not a subject I'll spend my energy on at a national level.
