Hi all,
I had not seen Linda Alexander here for a bit so reached out to her.
Linda has done a bit of traveling and also was ill for awhile, but says she is feeling better and assures me that she will be back at Ryze soon.

You are SO sweet . . . I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness!
I've sorely neglected Hollywood & Politics -- & Ryze, in general -- in recent history. I apologize to all H&P members. I intend to re-work the site soon & get some activity going on. Thoughts/suggestions are welcomed.
I've been traveling since before the end of last year, & ill as long. I'm still not done w/this nasty stuff, though I thankfully feel worlds better than I did the last month or so. Between bronchitis & a viral infection that made it nearly impossible to eat, & at times speak -- the good news on that front: I lost weight! ; >
I'd like to try a variation on something I've seen on other networks. We have some talent in our small group. I want to see more coming in, so we'll focus once a month on a member -- give an intro note w/bio, credits, etc -- & then have folks write in & ask questions of that member.
Also, for the first 5 members who brings in 2 new members to H&P . . . I'm giving away copies of my novel, "Until Next Time." For info on this book, here's my Authors Den site link:

I'll have other specials going off & on in the new year, all working up to my May publication date for "Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism."

I'm ready to ramp up for my new book debut. Can't sit around -- this book has great potential for sale because of its subject . . . but promotion is key. And I love the topics. I've been watching some Sunday AM TV today & the connection between politics & entertainment is SO integral. I'm surprised there isn't more obvious commentary on it, all-round; though there are shows like "The Daily Show" & "The Colbert Report" that do a decent job of mocking that reality.
Oh well. Let's look towards spring -- for many reasons!
