If you are involved with a nonprofit organization interested in garnering more grant money or a grant writer wanting to improve your skill, you need to circle Monday, March 3rd at 7 p.m. on your calendar. On that day you will want to attend a one-of-a-kind special presentation. Scott Allman will be making a presentation concerning the services provided by The Foundation Center - the nation's largest philanthropic library system. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. at the Greenview Restaurant, 19210 Hartmann Road in Hidden Valley Lake. The presentation should last for approximately 90 minutes.
There are only a few Foundation Center libraries across the United States. One is located in Atlanta, GA. I have actually been in that library. I was truly amazed with all it had to offer nonprofit organizations seeking funding. There is also a library in San Francisco. In fact, Scott Allman is traveling from that location to Hidden Valley Lake. This will be the first time folks in Lake County will have been exposed to a presentation by The Foundation Center. I sincerely hope all nonprofits in the area will at the very least send a representative to this meeting. There should be a lot of useful material handed out there.
Anyone with questions about this presentation, please do not hesitate to let me know.
