Danielle (Dani) Cutler | | Well I did it. A lot of you know I have been mulling this over for awhile, but always hesitated. Afraid of change? Possibly. Lazy? Even more accurate.
Now I think I was simply waiting for the right network to come along, that works with all the things I want for a Truth-seekin' community. I found it:

This has just about every option known on the universe- including sub-groups I can start within the community. Sure, there are google-ads (which luckily I don't see because of Firefox and adblock), but even if I got a paid account, it would be money better spent there now, than here.
Transitions are difficult, this I know. I'm going to lose a lot of you, I understand that. But I do hope that if this network was an important place for information here, that you will consider joining over there and continue the search for Truth with me. :-)
I'm going to overlap the sites for awhile, maybe for the next month or so. Then I will change the homepage here to link over to the Ning site. I believe this network will stay open as long as I don't delete it, so please don't leave it yourself- that way it remains listed in your networks on your Ryze pages.
Not a goodbye to all of you. Just a goodbye to the home base!

-=Topper=- | | Well I have been kicking the tires at ning and frankly I like what I see. The price of removing google ads is about par with the price of membership here.
And on a political board associated with many topics and discussions there is something lacking at ryze, embedded movies.
HTML is largely supported at ning and in all the response and topic windows I have seen.
I am rather sold on it and kicking the tires myself. Of course being the nodding puppy that I am I had to help kick the tires with you at the new site. But then again started my own sandbox.
So far, its a little navigational, but not that bad. And I think more content is a must.
Just my 2 cents.

There are now two. "Conservative Central" and "2008 Presidential Elections"
What is nice about that is you can join separate places so you don't have to jump into EVERYTHING going on if you don't want to, but still have places to contribute and talk with like-minded people. That's why I think the conservative group is a good idea. A safe place for the conservatives to chat about their ideas without us liberals coming in and crashing the party.

Though I must say at a given point, Truth Seekers here became too much USA Politics.
I mean, would be great I could actually find such a place for Portugal, Switzerland and/or the EU... Then again, I haven't actually looked for any of those... lol
Anyways with this search interest this topic just started out in me, I'm also thinking would it be interesting for you to open some group like "International POVs" or maybe "Non-political truth seeking". Any of those would be interesting to me...
NOT a request! Only a suggestion!
I do enjoy checking in here every now and then! ;-)

Where in Ryze you have one profile for all your interest, each group has it's own profile representing the interests of that group.

I just came on board, but it also means that some of us might have a little work to do (mail filters, current pics, that sort of thing) to separate it from Ryze and still keep up with TS while it exists on Ryze. When are you completing the cutover?

I decided that the first of the month is when I'm going to cancel my Ryze account. This will give me time to change-up the homepage and let everyone know where the new home is.
Thanks to everyone who has moved over- I'm still waiting for a few others.. you know who you are, AHEM! ;-)
Of course, the link to http://truthseekerscast.ning.com/ will remain, so you will certainly be able to continue your seeking even after you are not able to here any longer.
I'm so excited and happy with how the Ning site is shaping up!
