That is the central idea in manifestation. ALL thoughts take the form of the thing imaged by the thought.
One's attitude or pattern of thoughts is irrelevant in the process of creation. We create that to which we give most of our attention. It's that simple.
In other words, we create what we think about most of the time. So, yes, negative people are and can be just as creative as positive people.

He ended up in an asylum and later killed himself after a tortured life. But his paintings have sold for up to $100 million (in the 90s)
Then there was Toulouse-Lautrec - physically deformed and an alcoholic...

As well, our misuse of this great creative power can create much pain in the lives of others. Think Adolf Hitler, etc.
So with the understanding of this law should also come enlightened responsibility, not only to ourselves but to others.
