Fox News pundit: I was ‘poor’ at $100,000 a year.
In 1995, current Fox News judicial commentator Andrew Napolitano left his seat on
New Jersey’s Superior Court to begin a career as a news commentator. Napolitano told
the Washington Times recently that the reason he left the judiciary is because “I
really was tired of being poor.” His salary as a judge? $100,000 a year.

Is it a level of income ?
Is it a level of deprivation ?
Is it a lack of opportunity ?
Is it a lack of education ?
Is it something else ?

It could mean the difference between two summer homes and 5!
Or you might have to pass on that yacht!

Lili Fuller | | I remember seeing W. campaigning on TV when he visited a naval base in Florida. A woman in the crowd brought up the fact that it was very difficult for her family to make ends meet on her enlisted husband's salary. His smart ass reply was they they needed to learn how to budget. Clearly he had no clue how dismal enlisted pay is and how far is doesn't go. I get about 20% of what I used to get when I a road warrior. Trust me, it doesn't go far. But I can assure you that I'd rather bite the bullet now than have absolutely no life like I did before. It's all about priorities. I think I could easily make do on $100K a year. I think he needs to learn how to budget.
