Sushama Joshi | | Hi guys,
I have bought this tinned tuna from Spencer's. It's a small round shaped tin. What to do with it?
I wanted to make sandwiches with it. not sure if it'll taste like Subway's tuna sub.
Any ideas?
Once I got Salmon but it was stinking so badly that had to throw it away. So I didn't even open this Tuna thing.
Please advice, SushmaPrivate Reply to Sushama Joshi |

anjali vaswani | | sushma...just open the can....
mash the tuna...chop one small onion, little bit of green chillies, some corriander leaves and mix it with the tuna...add a dash of lime juice and spread on sandwhich bread or bread roll...you could add lettuce leaves, and some tabasco sauce depends on how spicy you like your food...cheers!! Chanchal Roy | | Open the tuna tin... trow away the brine or Veg oil.. mash it into small flakes with a fork.. Add fine chopped onions, green chillies, some jeera powder, chat masala powder and then knead it into a rough paste.
Option 1
Boil potatoes and mash them up with a little salt. Make tikkies out of it using the tuna mix as a filler.. shallow fry them for starters!!
Option 2
Make Stuffed parathas with it like you make Aloo or Gobi parathas.
Both of them taste awesome!!Private Reply to Chanchal Roy |

Malini Suryanarayanan | | If tuna is packed in brine, please wash a few times to get rid of the extremely salty and "tin" taste and flavor. If packed in oil-pat with paper towel to get rid of extra oil. Smell the tuna if it stinks throw away immediately.
