Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901		Once again, I want to encourage all members of this network to take full advantage of the fact that Saturday is the commercial business "Advertising Day." If you want to post a message to this network to promote a product or service, Saturday is the day to do it. If you want to recruit more sales people for your business because it happens to be a business that favors that type of marketing approach, Saturday - and ONLY SATURDAY - is the day to do it. Be sure also to make sure your post to advertise your business is on the Advertising Thread.

Anyone can start the advertising thread for Saturday. Just make sure you place "ADV" (like I have done above) at the beginning of this thread.

There are four different ways you can advertise on this network - plain text, HTML (pictures), audio link and video link. I encourage you to use all four options to promote your business. There is also no limit to the number of different ads you can post. Why? Because I want the members of this network to use this network to help grow their business and succeed. That means this network is going to be a place where the members can do more than simply push products and services. It is a place for experimentation. It is a place where you can try out different advertising approaches, get feedback and learn how to do what you need done better.

So, what's the "new incentive?" It is to be able to advertise more than one thing in a single post. If you would like to promote several different products or activities in a single post, be my guest.

If you live in the South Lake County area of Northern California, there are several upcoming events you need to make plans to attend:

1) Middletown Merchants Business Meeting, Thursday, Feb.21st at 8 a.m. at the Middletown Senior Center, adjacent to the Middletown Central Park. There will be a special presentation concerning solar energy at this meeting by Akeena Solar.

2) Middletown Area Town Hall Meeting, Thursday, Feb. 21st at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Use Room of the Middletown High School in Downtown Middletown. There will be important discussions on the future direction of the community - including the use of digital signage and how best to rally community support for growth.

3) Grantseeking Basics presentation by Scott Ullman of The Foundation Center at the Greenview Restaurant in Hidden Valley Lake at 7 p.m. on March 3rd. For more about the town hall meeting and the grantseeking presentation including the opportunity to RSVP, click here.
