I can sense the emotion you are feeling as you wrote your words.
As a faithful student of the laws, you know how powerful your thoughts and words are...so have fun with them.
You can begin right now envisioning and speaking the words of a desirable outcome. Notice I did not say your current desire, which is for them to stay.
You are correct in that we cannot influence another's manifestation because they have free choice at all times. It may only appear that we have an affect if they choose to consider another's thoughts and feelings in making a decision.
Would you rather have your daughters & grandchildren nearby, even though they might feel unfullfilled? OR would you enjoy TRAVELLING to visit your family. Imagine now, you are arriving for a visit, they are excited to see you! You are excited and happy to see them, they have very pleasant living arrangements, the grandchildren are fluorishing in new opportunities. In fact, they are all beaming with the light of Spirit when you see them!
What are the things you want for yourself, that you would also want for your children? Prosperity, peace of mind, adventure, stretching and growing - spiritually, mentally, physically. Self-confidence and esteem....as a mom I am guessing you want these things for your daughters also.
Go ahead and have a good cry. Let it all out. Release it. Then begin writing the words of affirmation for all those qualities and experiences you want for your children. You have obviously been a good mother and raised some smart kids, since they recognize that to grow means to make some changes.
Think and speak words of prosperity and abundance over your children and yourself. It is likely that your children will make their choices in a more peaceful and productive manner when they have your support. When they feel the energy from you, that you believe in them, that you already trust in Divine order for all, this will be the way you can influence their minds so that they choose wisely and well for themselves.
And of course...this means new things for you are on the horizon...what thoughts and words will you be willing to incorporate into your new future?
Yes, you will likely feel some sadness...and that need only be temporary. Then, fill yourself with the thoughts, words, energy and actions that will allow you to move through this experience knowing and feeling secure, loved, and in celebration for the exciting manifestations ahead for you and your daughters and grandchildren...the Universe is at their command also.

Hi Linda,
I don't recall having a conversation with you, but if so, I would never have stated that we cannot be instrumental in manifesting for others. And I know that you and I have never discussed a situation like this. I just need to clarify that for my members, as you post suggests that.
I fully believe that we are able, through the use of mental and spiritual law and the power of prayer - to tap into Universal Mind and stir the workings of the creative forces to produce the highest and best results for our loved ones and others.
Note that I said the highest and best results. That means the results for the greatest good of ALL. What I have stated in the past is that it is not aligned with spiritual law to impose our will on another human being. We cannot force others to do our bidding - according to what we, in our limited perception, believe is their best outcome.
Perhaps the most profound example of our influence in helping others is in the area of physical healing. I suggest that you read my article - one of my best, if I may say so - about healing through mental and spiritual law and the scientific evidence that our consciousness can effect the healing of others.

Then go the the previous thread here on the network and read Kathleen Jaap's poignant account of how she manifested the perfect solution for her longtime friend and spiritual mentor of many years ago. What is so deeply moving about Kat's story is that her subject, Pat, was not capable of making her own sound decisions during the time. There is no doubt in my mind that Spirit in its infinite wisdom chose Kathleen to stir the creativity to fulfill Pat's destiny at that moment.

So yes, we certainly can be part of the healing and manifestation process for others.
But there is a delicate situation when our heart and emotions are involved, and yes, maybe you are being selfish. But the love of a mother and grandmother is expected to have selfish elements, don't you think? Our heart cannot easily accept what we perceive as a loss of contact and nearness to our dearest ones. Aside from our own selfish needs, there is the protective element that comes into play. You want your family near and you want to protect them.
What is necessary here, Linda, is your understanding of the spiritual principle of release. Releasing others will never lose them - it will only bring them closer. But you must be willing to allow them to follow their own hearts to their own fulfillment in life. And you may not see it at this time, but when you are aligned with Universal Mind - their fulfillment will BE your fulfillment.
My suggestion? I will give my most heartfelt answer. You have been hanging around Feel Free to Prosper for some time and you have resonated to my teachings - at least from a distance. Linda, it's time for you to get involved in a Feel Free to Prosper program and learn the principles that will take you higher.
Your current situation is a WONDERFUL opportunity to learn and apply the laws for your happiness and your family's happiness. I can work with you personally if it's appropriate for you - or suggest the program to start you on your path.
It will change everything. I promise that situations will adjust themselves. You will learn to rely on an Intelligence that has all the answers and is far capable than we are personally, to manifest situations for the happiness of all concerned. There are answers in Univeral Mind that you and I could never imagine.

You said it much more eloquently than I did. Yes, I did use the lesson work from your program to manifest for my friend.
Marilyn is correct, just like in the situation with my friend, I chose to hold the highest good in my mind and heart. It would have been far easier to just let someone else handle the situation. Just prior to all of this with Pat, I was being prompted to more exploration and study of lesson 3 of the FFTP program, there was something to be manifested in Divine Order...the timimg was essential and perfect. At the time, I did not know of the forthcoming events. The energy of the universe is always in place and on time.
When I received the call of Pat's situation and in the moment I understood that I was to apply the lesson, I already knew that the outcome would be perfected.
I personally invite you to explore the FFTP....you deserve it!

Marilyn, I would like to clear up what I meant to say.... I have read, listened and watched different sources over the past year, trying to understand and learn LOA. I had talked to you for about 30 minutes, back in the fall, but, Not about this subject. And I will say, you personally did not make the comment. In fact you told me to think possitive thoughts about someone, and they wouldn't know what hit them... It worked. I can say, since that single conversation, I have applied the few simple things that we talked about, and have seen not large, but many small manifestations....It was like opening up a channel to the Universe. Thank you Marilyn.
Just the advice and the reminding that Marilyn and Kat made today, it has made today much easier. I have excepted the change(not that it is easy) and have made myself think of the NOW, and that all my girls and grandchildren are close by NOW,and enjoying every minute of it. Also looking forwad to all the ballgames that are coming up that I will get to see. Whatever happens after that... will work out.
I actually had to laugh about the situation this morning... As I was pondering and thinking about the good things.... I had a call.... there was a 5.4 earthquake that went through the very same area early this morning, that the girls are planning on going to...
My first thought was...that the whole area, and many lives were shook up, but, soon to be settled down as the universe planned...How is that for a sign?!?!
Anyway, many thanks to both of you.... I think that it got me over that initial hump, and we will see what will happen..
I will look at the articles... always room for more learning. Marilyn... I will be looking into your programs more closely... yes, it is about time, to take that step.
