Dear all
Tried it last night at home and was a big hit ;-)
Take 1 Kg of chicken (I tried with only legs), wash and clean. Heat some oil in a kadai and AFTER IT IS HOT, put in some jeera.
Now put in the chicken, add some haldi and lot of pudina leaves, garlic, salt and 2/3 cut hara mirchi (I added some kothimbir also at this time).
TURN THE FLAME LOW and cover it and let it cook for almost an hour... Keep turning it once in a while.
At the end, only a little water will remain...
AHA at this time the chicken was not completely tender/succulent - maybe a little hard.
So I added very little water (repeat very little), covered and let it cook again for some time till the water evaporated.
Then turned off the flame and let it stand for a few minutes...
And then bliss ;-)
Try it out people - and comments/suggestions welcome (needed actualy ;-)

Would love to try so two clarifications pls:

Are the mint leaves to be chopped and added?

How about garlic - paste, whole, chopped or minced?

Hi Ishita
I made a paste of garlic + ginger... I added whole mint leaves... I added the paste a little later (but should not matter I think)
Let me know how it turns out for you ;-)
