I think endorsements are important. It's not just celebrity endorsements that matter, but the endorsement of everyday people. From my perspective, you do not have to be famous to have a worthwhile impact on other people. I believe if you happen to have a unique experience, people will pay attention and respond.
Take the site, Ting's Thai Kitchen, for example. There are three pages of comments from people signing the guest book fo this small Thai Mom and Pop restaurant. The very first person to sign that guest book was a chef of many years who does not even live in the United States. He lives in the United Kingdom. Yet, his unique experience adds tremendous credibility to his comments.
I encourage everyone on this network who wants to spread knowledge of their business further to both request and give endorsements. I believe such a give and take will benefit your business.
