Shrinath Navghane | | Dear Entrepreneurs,
We are presently working with several regional and international educational institutes to promote "Entrepreneurship" by involving the best in the industry and a lot of creativity of the students. Symbiosis is going to hold the regional rounds of one such events where I need your help.
On 26th July, SCMHRD will be conducting the Regional round of a mock IPO event called LST (Lock Stock & Trade). The event was jointly conceived 3 years back by S. P. Jain Institute & National Entrepreneurship Network and is an extremely successful one.
For the event, we need 6 first generation entrepreneurs who have either the plans or potential to go public. Students teams (2 students) are expected to work jointly with these entrepreneurs to make plans and to present the same to the audience (around 300 students/faculty/others) that also acts as investors with mock currency. The winning companies (in terms of market cap) will go to the finals at S. P. Jain Institute. The advantages for the students are obvious but even entrepreneurs will benefit from the insights and creativity of students.
The aim is to get an exposure to pre-IPO development and I am glad to announce that I will be one of the Judges for this competition.
