Dear Members:

Please be advised that Project-Middletown is now renamed, refocused and overhauled to better service both an Internet audience and local folks.

From the outset, Project-Middletown always had more members from outside Northern California than from within it - despite the fact it's focus was Middletown, CA. Getting local folks to care about this Ryze network was a problem. But, with a new name, the help of Wi-Fi locally, a restaurant willing to allow for regularly scheduled meetings - and most importantly caring people from around the world who not only have expertise in business networking, but the willingness to share that expertise, I believe this situation is going to change.

As time progresses, you will see a new face to this page as this network will be connected to a Briz network, a PBWiki Directory, a live chat room in Toronto, and a Squidoo lens. With your help we are going to help others.

I might as well go on-the-record here as the moderator of this network tell you what I believe to be true. I believe what goes around comes around. I believe it is not a coincidence the world turns. I believe it is a masterful design. As odd as this may sound, I believe if a few people unselfishly put forward win/win relationships, a large body of people can actually benefit. Therefore, I encourage all those involved with this network to put forward "win/win" relationships.

I point to the fact Squidoo.com, Craigslist, Wikipedia and other Web 2.0 innovators have shown themselves to become very successful in a relatively short period of time. How is that possible? They all have very small paid staffs. The answer is "mutual collaboration" with the public. When people come to the realization that the use of a product or a process "really is" in their best interest, they use it. I believe this network can truly have a positive impact on any small business who seriously takes advantage of all it offers.

What exactly will this network offer that might make it different from all the rest? Stick around and you will find out. Meanwhile, welcome to the new and exciting Ryze network - Clusters!
