U V Umesh | | Hi folks!
I found this very interesting to read on Hindu:
http://www.hindu.com/mag/2008/07/27/stories/2008072750010100.htm
It gives a lot of meaning to the word of Collectors and how they need to go about collecting!
Cheers!

Thomas | | Nice article...a reminder of what art collection should be...especially with all the hype about art being (soley viewed as) an alternative investment vehicle.. Private Reply to Thomas |

Amit Chopra | | Art is something which is priceless.I interpret this as something which has a very high value to one person and at the same time valueless to another. Is there some way of exactly defining what a collector see's in a work to make it valuable? And can another person appreciate the same point in a work? And should someone codify the points which make a painting valuable or not? I think it is best left to the individual to decide the fine points for appreciating a work or not.
